Newborn and Baby Photography

I photographed Baby J almost 3 months ago.  He was brand new and did not want to sleep for his newborn pictures.  He was obviously tired, but surely didn't want to miss a minute of his first photo shoot.

Last week, I photographed this sweet baby again for his 3 month pictures, and we couldn't get him to stay awake.  Go figure.  Although, I was lucky enough to grab a few shots of his charming smile before he closed his eyes.

Have a wonderful day!

Camping ... Episode #1

We had a great time camping on our land near Walsenburg, CO over Fourth of July weekend.  It was really hot ... and there was a fire ban in the area due to dry conditions (which meant no s'mores ... why else do you go camping???), but we had a lot of fun together ... hiking, swimming, camping, biking and enjoying being together.

The ranch sits at the base of the Sangre De Cristo Mountain range.  The Spanish Peaks overlook the property ... absolutely gorgeous.

Hiking around the ranch ...

More to come tomorrow.  Thanks for stopping by.

Denver Children's Photography

Such a beautiful dancer.  This little girl LOVES, LOVES, LOVES her mommy.  I do too, she's been a dear friend of mine for many, many years.
This next series is really sweet.  She completely fell in love with my assistant (aka "Lucas", my younger son).  I have to say she has great taste.  Don't you just love the compassion and interest she shows?  Maybe she'll go into psychology ...

This girl is beautiful and was so much fun to photograph.  Pictures taken at Sterne Park in Littleton and Foxridge Pool in Centennial.  It's always fun to do swimming pictures!  Great memories.

Second Wind Fund Ambassadors - Denver Teen Pictures

I had the BEST time working with this amazing group of teenagers.  They are ambassadors for the Second Wind Fund of Metro Denver.  They have been trained to speak to the media and educate the public about teen suicide and all of the issues surrounding it.  They are volunteering their time for such an important cause ... and as you can see in the photos, they have a lot of fun too.
